The time it takes to complete normal business tasks is shrinking. Whereas it might’ve used to take days(or even weeks!) to place an order with a supplier and have it shipped, nowadays this all takes place in minutes.

Efficiency-hounds such as Amazon are showing us what’s truly possible with regards to the delivery of goods to consumers.

In fact, at Natix, we are constantly testing and iterating our sales processes to better serve our customers and increase revenue.

What Is "One Business Minute"?

We define One Business Minute as a minute in which work is being done. Simple right?

What is possible is in one “business minute”?

  • Place an order for products or services.
  • Send an email to: check the status of a project, close a deal, pitch an idea.
  • Send a personalized, templated email to a potential sales lead. CRMs can help immensely here.
  • Brainstorm five potential solutions to a problem.

Most things that are done to run a business – whether it’s sales, operations, or marketing – can be handled via voice or computer.

The truth is, the hardest part of running a business is strategizing and making decisions. Business intelligence and analytics can amplify our abilities to do these things, although some processes such as content creation, sales outreach, and executive decision-making, may always need a human brain whether that means using spreadsheet formulas in excel, setting up automated supply orders on a recurring basis, or using If This Then That to automate business workflows.

What it all boils down to is this: by staying on top of current technological trends, you can implement them in your workplace, to positive results.
