How to order from Natix

Ordering through SEWP takes four steps, and we handle the paperwork on our side.

  1. Send your requirement

Post an RFQ in the SEWP Quote Request Tool, the recommended method, and include Natix. Need help scoping it first? Contact our SEWP team below.

  2. Get a quote

We reply with a SEWP quote showing contract items, pricing with the fee included, and an expiration date. Requests made in the QRT are always answered in the QRT.

  3. Issue the order

Send your order to the SEWP office at sewporders@sewp.nasa.gov, citing our SEWP VI contract number. We start fulfillment once SEWP processes it and assigns a SEWP control number.

  4. Delivery and support

We ship, confirm delivery, and stay your contact for setup, warranty, and any post-delivery issues.

Warranty, installation, and support

How we handle everything after your order arrives. For any of these, contact our support team at support@natix.com.

Installation

Most orders ship ready to use. When an order includes installation or device setup, we schedule it with your site contact after delivery and confirm completion in writing.

Basic warranty

Every product carries the manufacturer's standard warranty, starting on the delivery date. We help you file the claim and stay with it until the manufacturer resolves it.

Extended warranty

Extended manufacturer coverage can be added at the time of order when it's on our SEWP contract. Coverage terms are set by the manufacturer.

Technical support

For a hardware problem, contact our support team first. We troubleshoot with you and open a manufacturer case when needed.

Software support

Software support and updates come from the publisher under the license terms. We help with license delivery, activation, and renewals.

Returns and damaged shipments

Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items upon acceptance, and no later than 3 business days after delivery. We arrange the return or replacement at no cost to you.

Problem with an order?

Start with step 1. If the issue isn't resolved, move to the next contact. Include your order number and the SEWP order or delivery order number when you write.

  1. Contact our orders team

About NASA SEWP

NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement), pronounced "soup," provides the latest Information Technology, Communication, and Audio-Visual (ITC/AV) solutions and services for all federal agencies and their approved contractors. Created in 1993, SEWP I was the first Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) in the federal acquisition space. SEWP has continually evolved over the past 30 years, expanding its scope to meet the requests of its customers. The program is self-funded through usage fees (0.34%) and supports more than 50,000 orders a year.

Fair opportunity and how we quote

Natix's SEWP VI contract is one of several awards under a multi-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract. Orders placed against it are subject to the Fair Opportunity clause below.

A.1.13 Fair Opportunity and Requests for Quotes, as written in our SEWP VI contract
Contractors will be provided a fair opportunity at the individual order level as appropriate per FAR Part 16.505(b), including the SEWP RFQ tools. No documentation for the order selection is required to be submitted with the order. All such documentation is to be maintained by the issuing procurement office. The Contractor shall not market, quote or otherwise offer for sale, any IT Solutions not listed under this contract, until the said solutions are included in the SEWP database of record, and available to all Government end-users. If the Government issues a Request For Information (RFI) as part of market research, the Contractor may provide items not yet listed on their SEWP contract as part of a market research quote if: 1. all such items are clearly marked as not yet available on their SEWP contract; and 2. the contractor submits a technology refreshment request to add those products to their contract If the Government issues a Request For Quote (RFQ) or a Market Research Request (MRR), the Contractor may only respond with items available on their Contract and the price of each item shall be the no greater than the price in Attachment F SEWP database of record at the time the quote is issued. If the Contractor has insufficient items on their contract to fully respond to the Formal RFQ, the Contractor must respond with a No Bid. Unless the RFQ specifically allows for partial quotes, the Contractor must respond fully to all requirements specified in the RFQ. When submitting a quote to a government end-user, the contractor must clearly state the length of time the quote is valid. The contractor shall honor any order submitted within the stated time period of a quote. When responding to an RFI or RFQ issued from the NASA SEWP RFQ on-line quoting system, the Contractor must respond as outlined in Attachment C: Contract Holder User Manual (CHUM). Contract Holders are prohibited from using Government information posted on the NASA SEWP Contract Holder Only Page, such as RFQs, RFIs, etc., for purposes other than proposing on SEWP requirements. This includes Contract Holders providing third parties with SEWP information and requirements for the purpose of assisting companies, that are not SEWP Contract Holders, with providing unsolicited proposals to meet agency requirements already posted to the NASA SEWP RFQ on-line quoting system.
What fair opportunity means for your order
  • SEWP VI is a multi-award GWAC, so each contract holder gets a fair opportunity to be considered for orders above the micro-purchase threshold.
  • How fair opportunity is met is up to the contracting officer, who documents the rationale and price for each order.
  • The SEWP Quote Request Tool (QRT) is the recommended way to do this. It sends your request to every holder in the group you pick and keeps the record for your file.
How we answer RFQs
  • We quote only items listed on our SEWP contract, priced at or below the current SEWP database rate.
  • Every quote states an expiration date, and we honor orders received before it.
  • If our contract items can't fully meet a requirement, we submit a no-bid rather than a partial quote.
Market research and RFIs
  • Items not yet on our contract can appear in an RFI response only when clearly marked as unlisted.
  • When that happens, we submit a technology refresh request to SEWP so the item can be added before an order.
The SEWP fee
  • A 0.34% fee applies to every SEWP order. It's built into our quoted prices and isn't listed as a separate line.
  • There is no minimum order size.
