The Eaton 9PX UPS (Model: 9PX6K-10) is a high-capacity, rack-mountable uninterruptible power supply designed for critical IT infrastructure and edge networking environments. This 6kVA/5.4kW system provides reliable, clean sine wave power to protect servers, switches, and other sensitive equipment against power disturbances such as blackouts, brownouts, surges, and line noise. Its robust design ensures continuous operation to prevent data loss and hardware damage during outages, making it ideal for data centers, healthcare facilities, and financial institutions.

This unit features an expandable internal battery system with hot-swappable, sealed lead acid (VRLA) batteries, allowing you to work through short interruptions and extend runtime with optional external battery modules (sold separately). Exclusive ABM technology with three-stage charging extends battery life by up to 50%, reducing maintenance and replacement costs. The UPS can manage up to four extended battery modules, providing additional runtime for prolonged outages. The front-panel LCD display rotates and tilts for easy viewing whether mounted in a rack or used as a tower, offering real-time load and health information at a glance.

The UPS includes a Gigabit Network Management Card (Network-M3), enabling remote configuration, control, and firmware updates without system downtime. This card meets cybersecurity standards with UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 certifications, ensuring protection against malware and exploits. Optional environmental monitoring probes can be connected to provide temperature and humidity data, further safeguarding your equipment. The system also offers multiple protected outlets, including two L6-30R and two L6-20R managed outlets with pure sine wave output, filtering power and monitoring consumption at outlet level. Hardwired output options are available to suit various installation requirements.
